About
I am Thomas Gideon and Quiet Scheme is the tiny brewery I built in my home. I have been brewing for over a decade and even received training as a professional brewer.
Originally, Quiet Scheme Brewing Company started planning as a commercial brewery towards the end of 2018. The vision was of a destination tap room inspired by the tradition of British pubs and colonial American taverns. Our taproom would have been like our living room, writ large. We had hoped our customers would quickly come to see it as their own third place. We had hoped to build a space that was welcoming, safe, and inviting that offered something for everyone who decides to visit.
The plan for a commercial brewery ended late in 2021. Quiet Scheme remains my pilot brewery, a place where I experiment with recipes and non-commercial projects involving beer.
